The puppies are raised in the house with human
interaction.
When the puppies are between the ages of 4-7
weeks old the training begins. Each puppy will be given individual
clicker training sessions everyday. I will start by training them
to come than go on to sit and some downs. Leash and crate training
are also taught as well as playing ball and tugging. I will be
taking them on car rides to expose them to movement to help reduce
the possibility of them getting car sick.
At 3 weeks of age the puppies will be wormed
with StrongidT. I will continue to worm them at 2 week intervals
until they are 6 weeks old. At 7 weeks I will switch to a 3 day
treatment of Panacur.
They will be taken out to different places for
socialization. One place is the Canine College which is a dog
training facility. They get to see dogs of all sizes and their
handlers and kids that love to play with them!
 
Blastoff Swirl is out of the 2005 Simmer/Sage
litter and now lives in Spring Texas. Left is at 6wks old and
on the right is at 1 yr. Thank you to her new owners for sending
pictures of this beautiful girl and giving her a wonderful home.
At 7 weeks they will get their first vaccinations.
The puppies go to their new homes between 7-8 weeks old with a
health record showing all wormings and shots that they have received.
Follow up shots need to be given at 10, 13 and 16 weeks. Rabies
should be given between 4-6 months old.
After the pups go to their new homes I will
still be available to the new owners if they have any questions
that might arise. I welcome updates/pictures of the pups as they
grow.
